Hi all!
For all of you who want to have a meeting tonite to discuss the march and what
is next, be at L/L Commons 216 at 7:30! There is also a concert by David Rovics
in the Fireplace lounge sponsored by SFPGJ at 8 which may be good to check out
after we talk!
I think that it is important to have a meeting. At the march the lead from the
stage was that the most important task for all of us protestors to do was go
home and register to vote. But voting is not going to win complete abortion
rights. That is free abortion on demand without apology. In order to win this
we need a REAL MOVEMENT on the ground, with millions of women shouting and
demanding their rights all the time, not shouting once every 12 years and
putting all their faith in a conservative Democrat.
Lets talk about this and what we can do HERE IN BURLINGTON! see you tonite!

"i love my country, by which i mean i am indebted joyfully to all the people
throughout its history who have fought the government to make right. where so
many cunning sons and daughters, our foremothers and forefathers came singing
through slaughter - came through hell and high water so that we could stand
here..." ani difranco
