Steve & List members:
We've developed a multi-user Access database system for EST referrals and other forms and reports. Teachers fill out the referral forms on-line. Then the EST team processes open referrals on-line at their meetings.
The system is fairly user friendly, but is not quite ready for prime time. (e.g., I currently load student and faculty data from the student data management system by hand. I haven't taken the time to automate the process.)
Once the school year winds down, I'd be happy to demo.

If you have a system for submitting Educational Support Team (EST)
referrals, leave forms or other such forms that is electronic, please
share your method.
Thanks,
Steve

The 'Pizza People' have struck again. Announcing the Spring Tech
Conference at SBHS on Friday April 30th, 2004.
This year the conference offers break-out session on VLANS, 3D
Imaging,
and Digital Video Gear. These three sessions have limited enrollment,
and are available on a first come first serv basis.
Additional sessions: Gary Kessler will be coming in to talk about
Network Security - The Next Generation. Gayle Razzaboni from Dell will
be chatting about network storage options, and since Craig missed the
last pizza meeting, we all volunteered him to lead a round table on
Spam
:) Check out the agenda and register for those breakout session at:
http://district.sbschools.net/dns/archives/spring_tech_04.htm
As we get closer to the event, some of the time's for these sessions
may be adjusted. Don't worry, be happy.
Perhaps the most important variable: Registering early helps us plan
how much pizza we'll need.
Big tinkering, big pizza. Adam
