Truer words have rarely been spoken. I use Windows when I have
absolutely no alternative--which thankfully is VERY rarely. I honestly
don't understand how anyone can put up with such insecurity. Why would
one rationally select an OS that forced you to spend even 5% of your
time thinking about security?
Of course places like the state colleges are about as UN-diverse as one
can imagine, and they're, sadly, training (brainwashing? selling snake
oil?) to the masses...
