At Colchester Pond yesterday:
male Golden-winged and blackburnian warblers (alas it turns out I was quite
close to a Cerulean)
This morning on Hayward st. in Burlington:
Yellow-throated vireo (a first, and just out my front door!)
Quoting Rick Renaud <[log in to unmask]>:
> While warblering our way around the North slope of Brigham Hill in Essex last
> evening, Dan Renaud and I were surprised to hear a rather vocal CERULEAN
> After a bit of searching, we found the bird (a male) on an open snag amidst
> an otherwise full canopy of maples. We enjoyed extended looks at it's neck
> ring, side-streaks, wing bars, and - in spite of bad lighting - it's cerulean
> More blackpolls this am as well!
> good birding.
