While gardening today, I was treated to a calling yellow-billed cuckoo and
then later by a black-billed cuckoo. Also have a Great Crested Flycatcher
hanging out at my house. It is such fun to be able to mutli-task (birding
and gardening). There were also other calling species-black & white warbler,
mourning dove, robin, cardinal, chipping sparrow, American crow, raven,
house finch, goldfinch, titmouse, blue bird, house wren, blue jays,
chickadee, catbird, song sparrow & a pileated woodpecker.
