While on my drive into work this morning a Green Heron flew from the ditch
on the side of the road in Shelburne to a small tree.  It amazes me the
places I see them.  Last year we saw one on the same road (Dorset Street)
but further north just on the S. Burlington town line.

On another note, a trip to my parents in Alburg on Saturday gave my wife a
chance to see a fleeting glimpse of a Woodcock.  There was suprisingly a
lack of any warblers.
