A wonderfully productive morning today at Red Rocks.
All told
10 species of Warbler: Chesnut-sided, Magnolia, Black-throated Blue,
Yellow-rumped, black-throated green, bay-breasted, pine, black-and-white,
American redstart, and ovenbird (I've been wishing for blackburnian, but no
luck.)
3 species of vireo: red-eyed, blue-headed, and warbling
several scarlet tanagers
rose-breasted grosbeak
great-crested flycatcher
thrush sp.? probably hermit
as well as singing House Wrens and Creepers.
