On Sunday (7/4) one of the immature Bald Eagles was perched in a dead snag
just north of the Brilyea area dikes at Dead Creek. An adult Osprey started
harassing it and continued for about five minutes. It would dive toward the BAEA
with its legs and talons outstretched. The BAEA would flap its wings and
duck. The OSPR finally tired of the fun and flew off.
At the OSPR platform three chicks could be seen.
