Kayaking on Lake Champlain the last few days I've watched two families
of Ospreys, one in Kingsland Bay and one at the mouth of Otter Creek.
Both nests built on platforms, perhaps placed by someone on this list.
Lots of noisy Osprey cheeping. I watched one young bird in Kingsland Bay
sitting on a limb devouring a fish held in its talons (the bird was
sitting on a limb, not me).  The young birds on Otter Creek seem to
still be on the nest.
