There have been several users who had trouble sending mail on-campus,
and the resolution to the problem was to disable SAV 9's email protect
feature. The disturbing thing is people aren't getting the "SAV has
detected an encrypted email message" pop-up anymore; email just isn't
sending. This problem has affected Eudora 5.1, Thunderbird 0.7.2 and
Outlook 2003. The resolution is pretty easy, but I'm wondering if there
are any benefits to this email scan and if we could perhaps have it
disabled on the install.
