For a brief time this morning the real time file protection on the
Norton2 central antivirus server was disabled, which resulted in client
workstations' real time protection being disabled if Symantec Antivirus
on-campus version is installed. I have enabled that setting on the
server, and it is pushing out new policies to correctly set workstation
auto-protect. All workstations should receive the corrected setting
shortly. Apologies for the generated confusion and support calls.
