First year elections went well yesterday with record turnouts.

September 25 at Patrick Gym, SA Concerts presents Talib Kweli with very
special guests The New Deal. Tickets are available at the UVM ticket office
upstairs in Patrick Gym or online at uvmathletics.com. Tickets are $20 for UVM
students and $30 for non-students and can also be purchased with Catscratch.
Doors - 7PM show - 8PM

3. Meet your neighbor Day ----------------------------
This Sunday, September 12th from 12:30-2pm. We'll be meeting at City
Market at 12:30. This is a Student Government initiative to get students to
meet their neighbors. Please help out so we can create healthy and open dialog
with our neighbors.
WHETHER YOU LIVE OFF CAMPUS OR NOT, COME OUT AND HELP US KNOCK ON DOORS!!
We'll be going to the Buell region and the NAP region (Loomis, South
Willard, Isham, Grant, Pearl, etc). Even if your street isn’t on the list,
come out and volunteer, and afterward you can go back home and spread the “meet
your neighbor magic”.
4. Student Ticket Policy ----------------------------
MEN'S & WOMEN'S SOCCER: Students need to show their valid UVM ID at the
gate to gain FREE admission to games.
MEN'S HOCKEY, MEN'S & WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: FREE student tickets to UVM men's
hockey, men’s & women’s basketball games will be available at the Patrick Gym
ticket office starting on Monday of the week of the game at 9:00am. Tickets
will be available until Tuesday at 4:30pm or until they are sold out. Students
will be able to get their FREE ticket (1 per student per game for that week) on
Monday or Tuesday (depending on availability) when they show their valid UVM
ID. Any tickets not picked up by students will go on sale to the general public
starting Wednesday at 9:00am. As long as any tickets remain to a game, students
will be allowed to pick up a ticket with their valid UVM ID through game time.
* Students must show their valid UVM ID AND FREE STUDENT TICKET at the door to
gain entrance to the game.
* Hockey - Students should use the designated student entrance and seating area
- SECTIONS 9, 10, 11, 12
* Basketball - Students should use the designated student entrance and seating
area – SECTION 10 or the upper half of SECTION 8
*Students that do not bring their ID to the game will be charged full admission
to gain entrance to the facility.
