On Friday (9/5) I stopped off at Richville pond in the afternoon and spotted a Green Heron Hunting in the canoe access, and flushed an American Bittern nearby. Down by the covered Bridge I observed an adult Moorhen, bill still in breeding colors, preening itself openly at the edge of some reeds. And by the bridge crossing the Lemon Fair, I saw another mature Moorhen, bill dulled, along with an immature dabbling together. Also while I was there a Common Raven flew overhead.
