The only thing we found to be successful was to stop feeding for a period of
time. Sometimes they came back and we had to stop feeding for a while again.
In the end, it worked.
A caveat: I wondered if something else was at play. Were the fields to the
west of us not planted in corn or something like that. We are located
between town (where they live) and farms to the west (where they eat).
PS An Osprey on Silk Road along the river. First time I have seen one there.
