This message has been posted earlier... we have a couple of slots that
have opened up on this.
Vermont Institutes is offering a 2 grad credit Differentiated Instruction
course to teachers via the ILN.
I have attached a flyer for your school on this email.
Here are some details:
Katherine Barwin is the instructor, a practiced Differentiated Instruction
educator. She hails from Milton school district.
The sessions begin Oct 5th on the ILN and continue through to Jan. Time
for the sessions is 3:30 to 5:00PM. There are also two face to face
meetings, Oct. 22 and a TBA date in Jan. The remaining dates are listed
on the attachment.
The cost for the course is 600.00 for a team of 5 from your school or
district. I am also negotiating if you have a smaller team or single
individual interested as well. Call and we can talk about pricing for
Grad credit is available via Union Institute and University here in
Montpelier. That cost is covered by the participants and is not part of
the course fee.
I realize this is a late notice on this, please disseminate as best as you
can, we can assist schools that do not make it to the first session on
Oct. 5th, (the next is the 12th.)
Thanks for your help.
