Yesterday 10/30/04 at Tri-Town Waterworks a group from Rutland County
Audubon viewed what appeared to be a 1st winter BLACKHEADED GULL.
The bird was in with a feeding flock of Bonaparte's Gulls. Other
waterfowl seen along the lake were all three SCOTERS, BUFFLEHEADS,
COMMON AND RED-BREASTED MERGS, C. GOLDENEYE, LOONS, HORNED GREBES, B.B.
PLOVER, KILLDEER, DUNLIN AND AT DCWMA area great flocks of SNOW GEESE,
MALLARDS, BLACKS, BLUE-WINGED TEAL AND A BRANT. A B. EAGLE was present
as were HARRIERS.
