At my feeder in South Newfane this morning - Fox Sparrow - finally! Missed it during the Spring.
Also at the feeder this AM: Song Sparrow, White-throated Sparrow, Dark-eyed Junco, Blue Jay, Mourning Dove, White-breasted Nuthatch, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Downy & Hairy Woodpeckers, Black-capped Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, Northern Cardinal, American Goldfinch.
Pine Siskin made a brief visit at the feeders three days ago.
At Retreat Meadows, Brattleboro, yesterday - 20+ busy and noisy Northern Mockingbirds - about 12 Northern Cardinals - Song & Swamp Sparrows, assortment of finches, a few American Robins - 8 Common Mergansers - 6 Hooded Mergansers - only about 10 Canada Geese on a fly over, Double-crested Cormorant - 2 dozen American Crows probably coming from a roost in Black Mtn area, adult Red-tailed Hawk
