South Burlington provides a student with an email account after
receiving a signed email permission form from the parent.
This is true of all grade levels. There tends to be an increasing
number of students who have email accounts as age increases, up to high
school, where all students submit the form in 9th grade when they begin
our Computer Applications course.
Our plan is to expand this by implementing internal email accounts for
all students, with email only being allowed to pass the firewall when an
email permission form is on file.

other school is using gaggle. If so, what are your thoughts on using
it? Do you require parental permission to have students sending and
