1. Election Night Party ----------------------------
Come and watch the results at the National Elections Party in Simpson
Dining Hall. The event begins at 8pm and will run until 1am. Come and go as
you please. There will be tons of FREE food, music, games, and prizes.
Various news stations will be broadcasting including, CNN, ABC, FOX, CBS, NBC,
MSNBC, and others.
Free food, huge screen televisions, free beverages, music by DJ Capsule from
WRUV (his show is called L'Epanoui), get your picture taken with Bush and
Kerry, pin the tale on the donkey, moose, and elephant, prizes from local area
stores. Donít miss the party at Simpson!!!

2. Donít forget to VOTE!! ----------------------------
SGA will have vans for those voting at local polling stations. The vans run
from Royal Tyler Theater starting at 9am and go all day ending at 6pm. The
vans will run about every ten minutes. Look for the sign by the Royal Tyler
bus stop. The polls are open from 7am to 7pm in Vermont.

It is important that you pick up your applications and attend the info
sessions that begin next week. For more information please call 656-2053.
The first info session is November 3 at 7pm in Memorial Lounge, Waterman.
There will be three info sessions and they are all mandatory.
The UVM Board of Trustees has two positions reserved for full time students.
Each year, a student is selected by the Student Trustee Selection Committee for
a two-year term.
The Board of Trustees has full legal responsibility and authority for the
University of Vermont, including entire management and control of property, and
affairs of the University. The Board of Trustees sets and approves policies,
budgets and strategic planning. The Board has authority to confer tenure on
faculty members and award honorary degrees. The Board also appoints the
President of the University.
The Board of Trustees at the University of Vermont consists of 25 members (9
legislative, 9 self-perpetuating, 3 gubernatorial, and 2 students; the Governor
and the President of the University of Vermont serve as ex-officio members
during their terms of office). Each member serves a 6-year term, with the
exception of the student members who serve 2 year terms. All terms begin on

Come support UVM menís hockey vs. Princeton on Friday. SGA will be
providing free pizza, wings, breadsticks, and soda from Leonardoís. The
tailgating party will begin at 5:00pm and will be located to the left of the
Gutterson entrance. There will be a sound system for music.

The Office of Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Logo Contest
What: Calling all artists!! AA/EO is looking for you to help us create our
NEW Diversity logo. All entrees must be original artwork representing
Diversity and be able to be displayed on-line.
When: All logos must be submitted by December 3rd to the AA/EO office at
428 Waterman. The winner will be announced by e-mail on December 9th.

7. Howie Day ----------------------------
SA Concerts presents Howie Day with special guest Tristan Prettyman on November
19th in Ira Allen Chapel. Doors 7:30 Show 8:30. Tickets are $15 for UVM
students and $20 for non-students/door. Tickets are available at the UVM
ticket office (Patrick Gym) Purepop, and online at uvm.edu/~sacon. Get your
tickets now as this show will sell-out.
