I didn't know I was thought of as the resident conspiracy theorist. :)
People should NOT be sharing their passwords. Isn't it straight up against UVM
IT policy to do such? My wife doesn't know any of my passwords for my multitude
of account... why should any of my coworkers?
I just have too many passwords to remember. I hate that I had to set up a
different username and password for list.uvm.edu, calendar, (old) webct, mysql,
etc. Yeah, I could set them the same, but it also makes me much less likely to
maintain a method of changing my passwords from time to time for fear that I'll
forget them... cuz writing them down is a bad idea too.
ps- that's NOT to say I'm not concerned, but my short term memory issues
override those concerns.
