Boston College Downs Vermont in Women's Hockey, 3-0

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Sarah Feldman netted three goals to lead the Boston
College women's hockey team to a 3-0 victory over Vermont on Tuesday night at
Kelly Rink in Chestnut Hill, Mass. With the loss the Catamounts fall to 2-13-1
on the season with the non-conference loss.

Feldman, the reigning Hockey East Rookie of the Week, scored twice in the first
period with the first goal coming 9:37 into the contest. Sarah Carlson and
Debora Spillane recorded assists on what proved to be the game-winner. Just
under four minutes later Feldman gave the Eagles a 2-0 advantage, as Cristin
Stuart and Spillane set her up for the tally.

Boston College (4-10-1) wrapped up the scoring and Feldman her hat trick with a
power play goal 13:12 into the third period. She now leads the team in goals
(11) and is tied for the team lead in points with 19.  Kerri Sanders and
Colleen Harris assisted on the goal.

Senior Kami Cote (Copperton, Utah) made 28 saves in net for Vermont while her
counterpart, Alison Quandt, recorded 13 stops, as Boston College out shot
Vermont 31-13 on the night. The Eagles also defeated the Catamounts 3-1 on
October 30th in Burlington.

The Catamounts are now off for exams and return to action on January 2nd when
they travel to play Minnesota State-Mankato. Vermont will play two versus the
Mavericks before continuing its Midwestern swing with a pair at North Dakota.
