    MOUNTAIN WEATHER FORECAST

   National Weather Service Burlington VT
   222 PM EST Tue Dec 7 2004

   Midday forecast for the mountains of Vermont and Northern New York.

   Wednesday: At 2000 feet, temperatures in the lower to mid 30S. Winds
   20 to 30 mph with higher gusts across the adirondack mountains and 15
   to 25 mph across the Green mountains. at the summits, temperatures
   around 30. Winds ranging from 25 to 35 mph across the Green mountains,
   to 35 to 45 mph with higher gusts across the Adirondacks.

   Thursday: At 2000 feet, temperatures in the mid to upper 30S. Winds 5
   to 10 mph. at the summits, temperatures in the mid to upper 20S. Winds
   10 to 20 mph.

   Scattered snow showers are expected Wednesday with partly cloudy skies
   on Thursday.
