If you want it enough, you can ski it. Trails are skiable now with a
little caution but not much. Just pay attention. The glades need a lot
of caution but if you find a line that's cleared out there is enough of a
crust on top of the first 6-8 inches that you're pretty much set if you
can find some low angle cleared stuff. But at Stowe, the usually deep
areas such as the Bypass and Nosedive Glades area, do have more than the
reported 12 inches at the stake. Maybe not much more, but its definitely
winter up there.
