Apparently two nights ago (when it got down to the high/mid twenties) it
was colder down here in the land of poisonous snakes, spiders, scorpions,
and visciously barbed cacti than in parts of Alaska.

ps.  We've already received over a foot of snow in the mountains that
surround the Old Pueblo.  Unfortunately the teat I'm sucking won't buy me
skis & boots out here or pay for my trip to the AZ Snowbowl...

(What's the use of handouts if they don't hand anything out???)
