Bruno asked a few questions and indicated I may pass them on to the list.
Q: Can arrangements be made for an early breakfast? Seems we as a group like
to get on the slopes earlier than most.
I have clearly indicated to Cheribourg that we will be disembarking for the
slopes very early each day.
Q: Is there an easy method of securing tickets each day at the different
areas?
I have asked that tickets be distributed in advance again this year. It was
pretty seamless last year.
Q: Is BYOB okay? The Blue Roach's policy was fairly stern in that regard.
Or perhaps at a new place, it's better to learn in situ?
I would suspect the latter is at least worth a try if it is not blatent. I
got the deal I did by advising there may be some considerable funds expended
by the group in the apres bar.
Q: Is there a cheaper price for people who want to stay only weekends, or
only weekdays, or who retire prior to the dessert course at dinner?
Unfortunately, no. The reason we get the 40% discount is because of group
economics for staffing, ticket sales etc. It gets way to complicated for
the resort (and me) trying to marshall together esstentially many different
separate packages into a group deal. If we had booked the huge five course
meal plan, the group would have all had to partake in same. BTW, I've spoken
to several attendees already that are taking advantage of the extra day.
Q: Do you plan any fraud this time?
Yes. I'm going to announce after everyone has paid there deposits that
there is a special 1/2 price signup for latecomers. :-)))
Q: Is Tag staying with you, or Marc Guido?
During a break in our online Halo2 tournament, Tag politely yet rationally
queried that since I could not guarantee Orford guide certification levels,
he was justifiably concerned about the safety aspects of the tour, and
possibly may not attend. Reluctantly, I conceded his point. Besides, I
hear he hogs the sheets, so he can't stay in my room with me. As well,
Sharon is greatly distressed about the trip's "ultra-high cost/low
rad-factor" index as well as my failure to grant her permission to wear a
badge that reads " La grande comandante de l'tour & la tres chick d'hot: How
DOES she do it?" in the hottub. Therefore, my tiresome posts may well fall
on deaf ears in Ithaca.
