I was watching my feeder which also has been having lots of activity because
of the extremely cold weather when much to my delight a bobcat walked by.
What a fabulous treat! We had been seeing lots of strange tracks and it was
nice to find out what was making them. He didn't seem to be interested in
the birds.
Also the red-bellied woodpecker has been at the feeder. He seems to prefer
the nuts that have been mixed in with the black sunflower seeds. It sure is
fun to have different things show up to keep us amused in the dead of
winter.
