One of my favorite books of all time is a small one called "A Mac is
not a Typewriter." [Robin Williams, PeachPit Press, 1989].
Although the focus of the book is on how to use the mac to do things
you want to do but are hard if you thing the mac is a typewriter. The
underlying story is about how mindset, prejudice, and habit get in the
way of creativity and understanding.
