"LIFE and DEBT"
A film by Stephanie Black
When: tonight, monday Feb 28th
Where: CC theatre
What time: 7:30pm
"Life and Debt" thoroughly documents how the US, the WTO, and the IMF have
systematically destroyed Jamaica's economy while showing the effects of
globalization on Jamaican industry and agriculture.
The US didn't abolish slavery in the 19th century; they simply outsourced it.
Take a look inside the Kingston Free Zone and you'll see the slaves still at
work. Visit a Jamaican banana plantation and learn about how the economy of a
sovereign nation was subjugated in the name of "free trade."

5. CATS Event ----------------------------
This Thursday, the Campus Activities Team presents cover pianist Rob Gonzalez.
America's next piano man, Rob Gonzalez has had breakout success this past school
year. Rob's stunning piano playing, lush singing voice, and signature charm
enrapture audiences—both in music clubs and in college concert halls. Rob's
appeal is broad-based, his voice and style have been compared to a “male
version of Norah Jones.”
Please Join us in Billings North Lounge @ 9pm on Thursday, March 3rd for some
great entertainment and refreshments! cant wait to see you there!
