Our district is considering using iSafe Curriculum. I would greatly
appreciate it if those of you who are using it or plan to use it in
near future would be willing to answer a few of questions.
1. Is your school/district/SU presently using iSafe curriculum or
plan on using it in the near future? Using Now, Near Future? Please

The Burlington School District is planning to implement the i-Safe
curriculum in the near future. One elementary guidance counselor is
going to be piloting some lessons within the next couple of weeks.
2. What grade level(s) is it being used at (or will it be used
We will be using it in grades K-9 (Burlington High School plans to use
it in their 9th grade required computer applications class.)
3. Who is (will be) teaching it? Classroom teacher, Librarian,
Each school is planning different delivery models. In March, we will
be holding a professional development training for district librarians
and guidance counselors. They will then coordinate training with
designated staff within their schools.

We hope to have an i-Safe community tables at upcoming IT displays/open
houses. We'll also notify our volunteer parent liaisons of the
We've been impressed with the curriculum. It is well-designed, timely
and aligned with NETS. It has been well received by those in the
district with whom we've shared it. Some of our teachers have expressed
a desire to learn more in this area and it's nice not to have to build
a curriculum from scratch. Attached please find the i-Safe Curriculum
