We have teachers here that are asking for a 2-3 credit summer course offering in line with this same type of work Ed. I have had other similar requests from schools associated with LAPDA and had put together a course before knowing that you would be doing this work in the summer (we have not released this offering yet). Is there a way that what you are doing might be able to address this interest? Also, I was asked if the structure of this type of work has been aligned with the qualifications that lead to the Ed-Tech Specialist endorsement.

Subject: Summer Tech Opportunity
Please excuse the double posting
We are seeking funding to bring together experienced technology using
educators this summer to create model Technology Performance Assessment
Tasks based on the Vermont Technology Grade Expectations and newly revised
Performance Tasks (http://www.cssu.org/technology/perftasks/). These
educators would work together for 3 days and be paid $300.00. We
anticipate holding two sessions, one in the Chittenden County area (July
11-13) and one in the Rutland area (July 18-20).
This is open to all Vermont educators in grades K-12 including classroom
teachers, integration specialists or tech directors, and others who have
experience with technology integration.
If you are interested, and/or know someone else that might be, please
e-mail us. We will send you a flyer in PDF format that further explains
the project. If after you receive the flyer you are still interested,
please let us know asap by sending us the information requested in the
flyer. We have a limited amount of slots open.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to:
1. Develop model tasks for yourself and other Vermont teachers
2. Network with some of the best technology using teachers in the state
3. Get paid for doing what you love.
