Many flocks of redwings and grackles were along the Poultney to Burlington route today. Additional spring sightings included a kestrel, some turkey vultures, a few cowbirds, flocks of ring-billed gulls, and a few geese.
Also had a male harrier fly across the road with what looked like a "fist" full of grass. Some was trailing a foot or so behind the bird.
Yesterday, a small flock of bluebirds were on the Green Mountain College campus.
