Yes, the harbingers of spring that appear in my backyard here in Vermont are
RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS. I apologize if my incorrect terminology caused
confusion on my reported sighting. I had not heard or read of the sightings of
the European species, REDWING.
My excitement about their arrival still stands!
