About 4:00 PM this afternoon, amid the swarms of crows, starlings, and
seagulls at the Intervale Compost Project, I encountered a single bald eagle
perched high in a tree next to the road, offering a great view. The bird hung out
in the area for some time, flying from one tree to another, until departing
at roughly the same time as the departing crows (5:00 or so).
