hey everyone here are my two slides. If you want i can cover a brief overview
of the baird program as well, but i see Mollie has made a slide for it already
for her section.
House bill 74 is a preventative bill that examines schools policies and practice
regarding medication of children with behavioral challanges.
The bill would:
-forbid schools from requesting parents medicate their children as a condition
of attending school.
-create a process of informed consent for parents regarding medication.
-prevent DCF from taking children into custody based soley on a parents decision
not to medicate their child.
