Here in Morrisville, we have been hearing quite a lot of song: finches, Phoebes (nesting in the barn), chickadees, and in the last few days a Winter Wren.

Same here.... very few goldfinches... no carolina wren... I think the pileated is nesting on the next street instead of the hole he was digging in my back yard. Very quiet here.
