Within a day or two of their installation, three of the houses were already
either inhabited by or under inspection by tree swallows. We've got tons of
them now, swooping about the fields and the lawn around our house and
chittering. What a TREAT!
If anyone has any tips for proper care and feeding, so to speak, of tree
swallow nest boxes, I'd be very grateful to hear them. This is a first for
us, and I want to be a good hostess.
