    LAKE CHAMPLAIN MARINE FORECAST

   National Weather Service Burlington VT
   238 PM EDT Tue May 31 2005

   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Tonight: South Winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves less than 1 foot. A chance
   of showers until midnight, with visibility unrestricted.
   Wednesday: Light south winds, with waves nearly calm.
   Wednesday Night: South Winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves less than 1 foot.
   Thursday: Light south winds, with waves nearly calm.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock is 97.36
   feet, and the water temperature is 51 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for Wednesday, June 1 will be a 6. This is in
   the high category.
