No cuckoos. Darn! However, I did see my first-in-Vermont-after-seven-years
Canada Warbler (female) and a wonderfully obliging snipe. This bird let me
observe him at a close distance while he fed along a muddy bank and provided
wonderfully close fly-by views as well.
