dont worry about it!

i actually appreciated your use of symbols. i
corralated the vt atlas data report last year for the
whole state so i am used to it. i also found it
helpful cause i understood exactly what you were
refering to as far as levels of comfirmation, when you
mentioned diferrent species. i would have done the
same thing considering the different levels of clarity
with which people report sightings, i think it was a
fair assumption to guesse that people might catch on.

my advice to people not experianced with ATLAS
yet...pick up on the lingo as soon as possible it is
one of the most efficient methods of reporting
observations.
