Most of you have heard by now that PVR offices and staff are moving from the
4th floor of the Pavilion Building down one level to the 3rd floor. The move
is happening on Thursday, July 21st and we should be settled into our new
quarters by Friday, July 22nd. During that period our phones will be
disconnected and reconnected in our new space. You man encounter some
problems reaching us from around Thursday morning through Friday afternoon.
Staff will be around, but unfortunately may not be able to take any calls.
Who will be involved in this move? PVR staff from Marcia Woodard, our
Program Services Clerk to Bill Johnson, our Director. Our information
technology staff (Martha, Cathie, Jessica and Gary Smith) will be moving
this Saturday, the 16th and they expect to be back in operation by Monday.
Real emergencies do crop up in spite of good planning so we would like you
to know that in the event there is a real "melt-down" in a town and you
absolutely cannot survive without talking to a PVR staff member, call
828-5705. That's Cathie Powers' phone number and she will find a way of
relaying a message to us. Don't forget that you will still be able to
contact district advisors at their home offices. All will be available to
help with any emergencies.
We hope to make this move with a minimum of disruption for all.
