VERMONT BREEDING BIRD ATLAS POSTING

This morning I started a block in Ludlow, deciding ahead of time to just go
after confirmations. I was able to confirm 12 species in 2 hours. Granted,
it was a new block so everything I saw "counted" and some of them were
"easy" ones (e.g., phoebe, grackle, house wren, white-throated sparrow,
mallard), but it is testimony to the fact that there is still serious
atlassing to be done out there. I thank every one of you for your efforts,
and hope you can take advantage of the feeding frenzy before the season is
over.
