I have also seen a Rose-breasted Grosbeak in my backyard (Essex, VT) in the
past several days. They seem to like the Cardinal Mix I put out in one of
several feeders. It is a much more shy species than say the bluejays,
goldfinches, grackles, or chickadees which frequent the same feeders.

The ripening cherries on our dwarf fruit trees seem to be attracting a male
Rose-Breasted Grosbeak -- yesterday was the first I've seen of one this
year, and he's back again today. A nice sight -- worth giving up some
cherries for.
