While no organized travel to and from the dojo has started yet, you are always
welcome to go on your own to practice during the club times. I'll need
Sensei first though, to let him know we have enough students who are
in practicing to continue the Thursday sessions.
A few things first: have you ever practiced aikido before? If not, you should
definitely go to the dojo soon, but only to watch a class. By watching a class
you can get a better understanding of how it is organized and you'll also be
able to meet Sensei and ask any questions.
If this sounds like something you'd like to do, check out the dojo's schedule
at: www.aikidovt.org. You're welcome to watch any class you'd like, but I
recommend the beginners or mixed classes since there will be more spoken
instruction. There's also a lot of other info on the site about the philosophy
of aikido and such.
Glad to hear from you and I hope to see you on Friday!

>> Hi everyone,
>> Sorry this letter is long overdue this semester, but it's about time
>> we have our

>> Sensei is still reserving the Thursday mat time from 4 - 5 for us.
>> From previous
>> semesters I know that this time doesn't work for everyone, especially those

>> I was thinking of holding our first meeting this Friday around 4 in
>> I've only heard from one person so far, though, so if the time or
>> place doesn't
>> work for you PLEASE LET ME KNOW! We're pretty flexible and I really
>> want to see
>> a decent turn out for our first meeting. I'll send out another email
>> on Thursday
>> or Friday morning confirming a meeting time and place after I've (hopefully)
>> heard back from some of you.
>> Also, if you have any questions about practice or aikido in general,
