This is a reminder that on Tuesday, September 13, 2005, the Center for
Research on Vermont is sponsoring Research-in-Progress Seminar #190,
"Burlington's War of 1812 Soldiers' Burial Ground," by Kate Kenny,
Archaeologist and Historian, University of Vermont Consulting Archaeology
Program.
The free, public presentation begins at 7:30 p.m., in Memorial Lounge on
the main floor of the Waterman Building at the University of Vermont.
The program is being held in conjunction with Vermont Archaeology Month 2005.
The Center for Research on Vermont dedicates this year's
Research-in-Progress Seminars to the memory of colleague and friend James
Petersen (1954-2005), University of Vermont Associate Professor of
Anthropology.
