Vermont Announces Creation of "Cat Pride Club"
BURLINGTON, Vt. ? The University of Vermont Athletic Department proudly
announces the creation of the "Cat Pride Club", sponsored by Mills & Greer,
beginning with the 2005-06 season.
The "Cat Pride Club" is a free attendance incentive program for all Vermont fans
in appreciation of the loyal support given to the Catamounts. The UVM athletic
department is creating this new tradition to help generate more school spirit,
both on and off campus.
"Catamount fans are a key part of what makes being a student athlete at UVM
special. We are delighted to introduce this program and we look forward to
watching grow with each event." Chris McCabe, Assistant VP of Marketing.
How does it work? Fans earn a stamp for each home game or preseason rally they
attend, by stopping by the "Cat Pride Club" table. Every stamp collected by
fans can be redeemed for points for official "Cat Pride Club" gear.
"Cat Pride Club" Levels and incentives:
Spirit Level: Attend 10 events and receive an official membership card and club
t-shirt. Fans are eligible for other incentives. Bring your official
membership card to Nectars for 25% off all food purchases.
Pride Level: Attend 20 events and receive an official club drawstring bag
Rally Level: Attend 30 events and receive an official club hat
30 or More Stamps: Each stamp after 30 events earns a chance to win the grand

ice hockey games and two (2) general admission tickets to all regular season
2006-07 men's and women's basketball games. The runner-up prize is a Nike golf
