On this glorious fall day the following were observed on Lake  Bomoseen, 
Hubbardton, as part of an ongoing IBA monthly monitoring  program.
Pied-billed grebe (1), great blue heron (14), Canada goose (23), wood duck  
(137), American black duck (9), mallard (17), ring-billed gull (42), belted  
kingfisher (1) also a single black-billed cuckoo.
The colors on the wood duck, both male and female, matched the day,  
absolutely splendid!
