This morning in Brandon a CAROLINA WREN singing. Numerous SWAMP SPARROWS, GOLDFINCH and a possible PHILADELPHIA VIREO. It was moving fast and did not give me much of a look.
The highlight of last week's hike along the Long Trail was a black bear. Avian types included: BLACK-THROATED BLUE & GREEN WARBLERS, CANADA WARBLER CHESTNUT-SIDED, C. YELLOW-THROATED. Both NUTHATCHES, RED-EYED VIREOS, RAVEN were others that we observed.
