Interesting note about purusing the 'buff-breasted field' off Rt22A on Fri

pond/property is near the Goodrich Corner/phalrope spot (DeLorme, p 38 )
asked that birders park in road to view pond, not in farm drive to S. of
And while the Pipit/Murin team was ticking Jaegers, we were on top of Philo
hoping for an early hawk or two. And that's what we got - one red-tail and
on sharpshin, neither migrating. But we did have 3 piliated woodpeckers fly
by at eye level and a fantastic day and views.
We had 1 greater yellowlegs at Charlotte Beach at 3pm!
