Highlights seen at Red Rocks Park, South Burlington, this morning (9/9/05):
Bay-breasted Warbler (1)
Blackpoll Warbler (2)
Magnolia Warbler (3)
Ovenbird (2)
Pine Warbler (1)
Blue-headed Vireo (1)
Red-eyed Vireo (5-6)
Scarlet Tanager (1)
Other species of note included Brown Creeper, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Cedar
Waxwing, Downy, Hairy, and Pileated Woodpeckers, Common Raven, plus all the
other locals. This reflects 45 min of birding between the entrance gate and
pumping station areas.
