Team Pipit enjoyed quite a flurry of warblers this morning on Ward Hill. In an hour and a half we found: (4) Nashville Warbler, (1) Northern Parula, (5) Chestnut-sided Warbler, (6) Magnolia Warbler, (6) Black-throated Blue Warbler, (3) Yellow-rumped Warbler, (5) Black-throated Green Warbler, (1) Palm Warbler, (2) Blackpoll Warbler, (1) Mourning Warbler, and (10) Common Yellowthroat.
The Palm Warbler was only the second I've had on Ward Hill in over thirty years of birding there. At one point the Palm and the Mourning Warbler were in the same shrub together - surely an unique experience!
